Plan to be part of Newtown’s newest tradition under the big tent at the Arts Festival’s Fairfield Hills site on Trades Lane. Enjoy cocktails, dinner, and dancing to the music of Eugene Dobb’s Nu Cullers band with catering by Walsh Catering of Danbury. The Rooster Ball evening promises to be the highlight of the fall social season.  Come dance the night away and celebrate the arts!

The most sought after dance band for New England weddings, concerts, corporate affairs and festivals, Eugene Dobbs’ Nu Cullers band features three of the most talented front-line entertainers/vocalists in the region and is considered the most diverse high energy dance band in the Northeast. From Motown to soul, funk to jazz, reggae to rock, country to pop, and today's top 40 hits, Nu Cullers offers a high-energy show with something for all.

Nu Cullers recently released their new original high energy soul/funk song Soulfood Kick. This song brings back the energy of bands like Tower of Power, the Temptations, Graham Central Station all rolled into one.

Nu-Cullers Ultimate band members have also worked with ‘60s Legend Fred Parris as the Satins, and others have worked with artists such as Najee, Jennifer Hudson, Sean “Puffy” Combs, Wood Brass & Steal, Regina Bell, Jasmine Sullivan, Sugar Hill Gang and more. They have been opening acts for Chaka Khan, Cameo, Wilson Pickett, Tower of Power, War, Billy Preston, Chuck Berry and sister Sledge, among others.

People have asked how they should dress.  The answer is FUN, FESTIVE, and with FLAIR.  You might feel like wearing a tux, you might feel like wearing a kilt. Wear what you feel, feel what you wear.
